About Us
We are sailing in retirement on our cruising sailboat Out of Sight. Originally we are from the Texas Panhandle but have been living on the Texas Gulf Coast for the past 20 years. We recently retired and are living full time on our 45′ 1995 Catalina/Morgan Out of Sight, along with our boat dog Bonny.
Our Mission
Experience as much of the world as possible together. Not many lifestyles offer the promise of freedom like sailing does. The power of the wind and feeling the spray on your face is amazingly freeing. For us, sailing opens up new ways for us to travel and see the world.
Our Values
We strive for our best life by living simply and staying true to our Christian ethics. We define living simply as working to eliminate life’s excess so that we can focus on the essentials and find happiness, fulfillment, and freedom. For us, nature and the sea are a way to connect with our creator.
